Recruitment Process

Step 1: Apply online

We’ve designed the process to be quick and easy - once you’ve found a role you’re interested in, click ‘Apply’. We recommend you start by uploading a current resume, our system will then fill out most of your application. Answer any additional job specific questions carefully. You’ll receive an automated response acknowledging we’ve received your application and welcoming you to our Talent Community.

Step 2: Application Review

Your application is reviewed and if your resume matches the position requirements, we’ll contact you to find out more. If you’re not suitable for the role, we’ll let you know via email. Your details are kept securely in our system, and we may contact you when future opportunities arise, but if you see another role in the future, we recommend you reapply. You can opt-out by logging onto your account and updating your connections.

Step 3: Telephone Interview

The Hiring Manager or Talent Acquisition Manager will conduct a quick interview over the phone. This is a simple way for us to get to know you a little better and confirm the details in your resume. We’ll talk to you about your previous experiences and why you’d like to work at Baby Bunting.

Step 4: Face-to-Face Interview

Pending a successful phone interview, you’ll be invited to attend a face-to-face interview with the Hiring Manager and other members of management. Depending on the role, there may be more than one interview. We’ll let you know the time and place for your interview and confirm all the details via email.

Step 5: Reference and Background Checks

Reference and background checks are an essential component of our recruitment process to verify your suitability to join our team. After interviews and before we offer you the position we’ll ask you to provide contact details of two recent employment referees. Depending on the position you’re applying for we may also perform a Police Check.

Step 6: You've got the Job!

If we think you’d make a great addition to our team, we’ll offer you the position and arrange your contract. You’re on the road to a fulfilling and rewarding career with Baby Bunting!
