Oricom In Ear Thermometer Iet400

I received this product as a gift at my baby shower, and I feel compelled to warn other parents. The thermometer consistently displayed the same temperature—36.8°C—regardless of my baby’s actual condition. Unfortunately, this gave me a false sense of security, and my baby suffered a febrile convulsion due to a high fever. We ended up in the hospital because I relied on this device to monitor her temperature. This product is unreliable, potentially dangerous, and should not be on the market. And as I am reading the reviews this is a common issue.

Doesn’t seem accurate at all. My son is burning up on my lap and I’m fine, but we are reading the same temp.

Gives normal readings, even when baby is evidently hot to touch and other thermometers indicate high grade temperatures. Would not recommend.

Very accurate at checking temperature. Fast when the little one is sick. Would buy again or gift.

Very inaccurate reading. Once going to hospital was advised by doctor these aren’t accurate and not to use it or depend on this for reading. Did not get a single accurate reading ! AVOID

The thermometer wasn't accurate, we missed my kids 40+ degree temp for 2 days until we used another thermometer. It kept telling us 36 regardless of which ear it was used in. We took it back and exchanged for another reliable brand

Not giving the right reading. Reading always stays between 36.5-36.7 even when bub had a temp of 38.7 on different thermometers. Can not trust this thermometer

Every time I’ve used this thermometer it has given a normal reading. Even when the kids are extremely hot and every other thermometer shows that they are over 38’C.

Great product, works as expected, would recommend to purchase

Love this. Super simple to use & the light indicator is great for guidance on warnings for high temps.

Perfect for taking temperatures, one thing I didn’t realise is it can’t be used on babies. Will be great when our baby is older or for ourselves
