A thermometer which everyone should have. I bought it foy my son but, realised it perfect for adults too. Readings are accurate, handy and convenient to use.

A great thermometer. Used this model for about 2 years in early childhood care setting, taking hundreds of temperatures a week for children both during illnesses and during pandemic. You can still get a fairly accurate reading without the lens covers if you don't want to/can't afford to buy replacements. Just have to press index finger over red trigger while taking temp and give a light clean between uses if earwax collects on lens. Eventually excessive use in a professional context, and 'improper' use (i.e. without lens covers) did lead to the thermometer decreasing in accuracy- but that is to be expected considering the conditions. For regular, family/household use I expect a longer life span and knew when I was expecting my own child that this was the best on the market so bought one for myself. Extremely quick reading return, may be a slightly snug ear fit for children under 9 months but children 12+ months I have had no problems taking quick and accurate readings.

Much easier to use than my other thermometer that took like 5 mins before giving me a final reading. When you have a sick toddler, a quick reading is the way to go.

Good thermometer only thing is this one doesn’t turn green or red for no temp or high temp but not a big deal Would have got the next model up but was unavailable for delivery

This thermometer is easy to use and great for piece of mind with a new bub, the next model up has a few more cool features though and can tell u if the temp is normal and can memorize the last 10 temps, would have liked these features but the unit I have works well so no complaints.
