Breast pump
I bought this last month, literally it work only a month, I paid lot of money and not working. I strongly, I will not recommend and rest is up to you
Great
It was a good one while it worked, in 30mins we'd get a full bottle. One day it stopped charging, and never came on again.
Easy to use and clean!
Love this pump! Works well and super easy to clean. I recommend this everyone. Have used other brands but this is by far my favourite.
Save your money
Worst pump ever, does not pump at all. Hire a pump and save money. Terrible offering from Medellin. Only the hospital grade pump is the only good pump from the range
Poor quality
Pump leaking constantly. Had it replaced once and found second one to be even worse. Absolutely disappointed with it especially as its not cheap. Taking it back to babybunting again for refund.
Worked OK until the 4th Pump - serious?
The cord snapped in two on the device side... right before I was trying to pump the fourth time. Now, it won't work at all. I had simply placed it in my robe pocket and noticed it wasn't pumping. For $$ to have such a flimsy construction and a replacement cord online only, you are really causing undue stress to BF mothers out there. Medela, do better.
Regret buying – poor suction/flange issues
I really regret purchasing the Medela Solo. The suction is weak and not worth the price at all. I actually got better results using a second-hand Medela Swing that’s more than 10 years old. What’s even more frustrating is that it only comes with one flange size and no option to easily upgrade or change it. I only learned about the importance of proper flange sizing after purchasing, and by then it was too late. I’ve since switched to a different cordless brand and have had far better results. Very disappointed – wouldn’t recommend this pump.
Worths your money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discrete and very compact design hand-free pump. The machine is not heavy so I can literally put it into my pocket and walk around the house. It’s a single pump so it would be more suitable for mums that breast-feed. You can feed your child on one side and pump on the other but by all mean of course you can take turn to pump on each side. I have attached in here a video of me pumping on level 3 (out of 9 levels of suction) so that you can hear how little noise it makes while pumping. The only down time is that it doesn’t have much of pumping patterns. Only 2 available, 1 for massage and 1 for normal pump. I got 120ml on one side after 20 minutes so it’s not bad for a hand-free pump.
It’s compact, lightweight, and honestly… it fits i
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it is hands-free and WIRELESS. It does have a tube going from the collector to the motor but there are no cords to the wall. It’s compact, lightweight, and honestly… it fits in my bra better than I expected! You can barely tell I’m wearing it. And yes, I’ve pumped while hanging washing, tidying toys, making dinner and even driving. Total freedom compared to the old-school pumps. I get just as much milk as I do with my Medela Swing Maxi, 10/10 recommended!!
So easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first-time mom, I found the Medela Solo Hands-Free Pump to be a lifesaver. I was nervous about pumping, but it's so easy and comfy to use.. I love that I get to cuddle or scroll while expressing - a total win in my books.
Compact but powerfull
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with this breast pump, as it was gentle on the nipple with a good suction power. Love that it is compact and portable. Comfortably fits in my bra or crop.
It may not be the most powerful pump out there, bu
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first-time mom, I was looking for a breast pump that wouldn’t tie me to one spot for 30 minutes every few hours. After researching and reading tons of reviews, I decided to try the Solo Hands-Free Single Electric Breast Pump, and here’s my honest experience. Pros: ✅ Truly hands-free: The wearable design is a game-changer. I can pop it into my bra and continue doing chores, typing on my laptop, or even cuddling my baby. No need to hold anything in place or stay plugged into a wall. ✅ Compact and discreet: It’s not bulky like some other wearable pumps. The motor is relatively quiet (not silent, but not embarrassing either), and the pump fits inside a regular nursing bra without too much bulge. ✅ Easy to use & clean: Just a few parts to assemble and clean, which is a blessing when you’re tired. The controls are simple, with just one button for power and suction level adjustments. ✅ USB rechargeable: Charges quickly and lasts several sessions. I can toss it in my diaper bag and not worry about finding an outlet. ⸻ Cons: ❌ Single pump only: Since it’s a single pump, it takes longer if you want to express both sides. I often find myself switching sides manually, which isn’t ideal when you’re in a hurry. ❌ Suction strength: The suction is decent for a wearable, but not as strong as a hospital-grade or traditional plug-in pump. If you’re trying to build supply or pump exclusively, this might not be enough on its own. ❌ Milk capacity: The collection cup holds a limited amount (around 4 oz), so if you have a heavy letdown or produce more, you’ll need to empty it mid-session. ⸻ Overall Thoughts: The Solo Hands-Free Single Electric Breast Pump is a lifesaver for moms on the move or multitasking at home. It may not be the most powerful pump out there, but it’s super convenient, discreet, and easy to use. If you’re supplementing or occasionally pumping, it’s a great pick. If you’re exclusively pumping, you might want something more heavy-duty.
Overall a really good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the most anticipated product for me, as I had heard a lot about the brand. Based on my experience with this hands-free pump, I would say it’s not completely hands-free—it does require some support. The noise level is reasonable, and the battery life is good, though it doesn’t perform well if not fully charged. The suction power is strong, and cleaning and reassembling the pump is easy.
Game changer pump!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in love with the solo hands free single electric breast pump from Medela! I feel like I have gained back time that I didn’t have with regular pumping. This portable pump is a game changer! So discreet and comfortable- you completely forget that you are pumping! It’s so quiet and holds a significant amount of milk for a portable pump - so impressed and highly recommend!
Best portable item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best things I got. I had the electrical one and the problem is that you have to keep it connected. This one is a best friend for travelling and there is no compromise in efficiency, comfort and suction strength.
