Lactivate® Perineal Ice and Heat Packs provide instant, soothing relief to the perineal area after childbirth for common post birth issues including; swelling, grazes, tears and stitches. 

Designed to be slim-line, flexible and comfortable for day-to-day wear, the perfect addition to your hospital bag.

Place in the freezer for 2-4 hours before use, then pop the frozen gel pack into the bamboo washable cover. Place against your perineal area. Apply for up to 20 minutes. If symptoms persist please seek medical attention.

Cold Therapy Directions Place in freezer for approximately 2-4 hours before using. Apply for up to 20 minutes. Heat Therapy Directions Place the gel pack inside the microwave lying flat for the time allocated below 700 watts - 16 seconds 1,000 watts - 13 seconds 1,250 watts - 11 seconds After testing pack temperature you may add more time in 5 second increments as needed until desired temperature is reached. Do not heat for more than 25 seconds total. Always test prior to application. If symptoms persist please seek medical attention.
