I like this item, but I will point out that only one of the sea creatures moves (the octopus), which is a little disappointing when compared with the regular version where all of the animals move. The music features are very similar and I enjoyed that.

My little one loves listening to this and watching the blue octopus move. Being portable and light has definitely helped car rides be easier for her! Highly recommend.

The light is like a night light and the motion display is also very relaxing. It can be placed on a nightstand with the included stand or places with baby. My toddler loves the soothing sounds and the light is great for nighttime car rides. I’m so excited to have this for my new little one that’s on the way and hope he loves it as much as my toddler. The only slight downside is there is a handle to fasten it to something, but it doesn’t seem to snap in from what I have tried but my toddler has been carrying it around for the most part or placing it on things so it hasn’t been an issue for us yet.
